Joy. It's listed amongst the fruit of the Spirit, that Spirit being the Spirit of God, so it must be an attribute of the Father; but what is the joy of God? Is He joyful only in blessing His children, or does He also have joy in judgment and correction? Jesus was said to have joy but was also called the 'man of sorrows,' so what made Him joyful? What about us? How can we be joyful and maintain that joy amidst persecution? What can cause us to lose our joy, and how can we know that we bring joy to the Father's heart? I wanna know.
