In the beginning, our Father, in six days, created the heavens and the earth, and all of the hosts of them were finished. On the seventh day, He ended His work and rested. He blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, forever to be known as the Sabbath. He tells us to remember it and keep it holy. He tells us it's a perpetual sign between Him and His children forever throughout all their generations. Now I must ask a few questions. What did He mean by "Remember"? Was anyone keeping the Sabbath before Moses and the Law? Did the weekly Sabbath start Friday evening or Saturday morning? Did keeping the biblical Sabbath die with our Messiah on His cross? When and why did the Sabbath change from the seventh day of the week to the first day of the week? Or did it? Why do people use the titles "the Christian Sabbath" or "the Lord's Day"? Has forever come and gone, or does the biblical Sabbath still stand? I wanna know.
