REV 12 | The Woman, the Dragon, and the War in Heaven | Ep.34

Episode Notes

This passage from Revelation 12:1-6 describes a powerful vision in heaven. A woman, symbolizing purity and divine favor, is seen clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and a crown of twelve stars on her head. She is pregnant and in the throes of giving birth.

Another figure, a great red dragon with seven heads, ten horns, and seven crowns, appears, representing a formidable and evil force. The dragon's tail sweeps a third of the stars from heaven and casts them to earth. The dragon waits to devour the woman's child as soon as it is born. However, the woman gives birth to a male child who is destined to rule all nations with a rod of iron. The child is taken up to God and His throne for protection, and the woman flees into the wilderness, where God has prepared a place for her to be nourished for 1,260 days.
