Jesus said, "Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God." What does water represent here? Is new birth instant or gradual? Can you be a Christian without having the Holy Spirit? Are you a Christian if you show no evidence of Christianity in your life? What does Scripture mean when it says, "Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin and cannot sin"? Once we're alive in Christ, how do we stay dead to sin? I wanna know.
